Protecting concrete structures against reinforcement corrosion: introduction to cathodic protection

Concrete

Sustainability

This workshop provides a practical introduction to cathodic protection (CP) of reinforced concrete. The workshop starts with the diagnosis of reinforcement corrosion and examines when cathodic protection can offer a suitable solution. It then discusses the necessary preliminary research, the basic principles of design, and the points to consider during implementation and monitoring.
