Postgraduate Energy & Climate
Would you like to learn more about the latest developments in energy and climate? The Energy & Climate postgraduate program offers a solid and up-to-date framework for analyzing energy and climate issues within their technical, policy, and social context.
You will strengthen your understanding of systems and concepts and build up targeted knowledge of tools, technologies, and regulations relating to energy and renewable sources. You will learn about climate change and the challenges it poses. In this way, you will develop the expertise to develop innovative and sustainable solutions based on a broad and forward-looking vision.
The English-language program welcomes participants from a wide range of backgrounds. Lawyers, economists, sociologists, engineers, biologists, and others form an interdisciplinary group that is taught by an equally diverse team of lecturers, composed of academics and professionals from research, policy, and industry. This mix creates an enriching multidisciplinary learning environment that offers you new perspectives on complex challenges.

- Program Overview:
- Full program of 30 credits
- Five course units, each worth 6 credits
- Focus on (societal) challenges of climate change, renewable energy and energy solutions
- Applied component analyzes activities of different sectors for their sustainable transition, mitigation and adaptation strategies
- Assessment:
- Evaluation through multiple-choice exams
- Course Structure:
- About 60 lectures, every 2-3 hours
