📅 Period: In consultation (school year 2025-2026).

We offer a unique internship at a challenging hydraulic engineering project Kanaaldok B2 in the Antwerp region, where you as an intern will have the opportunity to participate in the construction of a quay wall. This in function of the project Antwerp@C. Via the link you can learn more about the project.

The total value of the project is 22 M€ and starts in September and end is foreseen on 21/12/2026. That is, if the internship goes smoothly we guarantee student work.
The project team consists of 1 project manager, 1 project engineer and 1 main site manager. There is definitely still room for an intern to add value.
💼 What will you do and what can you see?
- You will support the site manager in the daily follow-up of the work.
- You will assist in planning and directing subcontractors.
- You will think about technical solutions on site.
- You monitor safety, quality and timing of works.
- You will support following activities on site. Installation of a water retaining wall, installation of groundwater lowering with water treatment, earth and demolition works, installation of combi wall, realization of concrete head beam of the quay wall, anchoring of the quay wall with ground anchors, dredging works,...

- You have a strong interest in hydraulic engineering and infrastructure projects.
- You are eager to learn, hands-on and have strong communication skills.
- You are available for an internship in the Antwerp region.
- You have your own transportation
