Construction Project Engineer

Within Willemen Bouw (our construction business line), we are specialized in civil engineering, industrial construction and buildings. Thanks to our expertise and efficient execution of the works, we are considered a relevant partner in large infrastructure works. 

How do you help build the most punishing plans? 

We deploy our project engineers to support our execution. Not only in the preparation of the projects but also during their realization. As a project engineer you can be engaged within three pillars, civil engineering, buildings and industry. These are always unique and challenging projects that can certainly offer you the necessary variety. 

 As a project engineer, you will be a key pivotal figure within the project team, providing input on tasks including the following: 

• Working out implementation procedures, phasing and possible variant solution also taking into account the associated quality and safety aspects; 
• Prepare and assist with purchase file as well as follow up during execution in consultation with project and site management; 
• Coordinate and assist in the of execution plans (including from subcontractors/study firm); 
• Elaborate detailed schedules for well-defined parts of the global schedule. 
• For this particular project, you will initially focus on preparing the technical issues of foundation engineering, earthworks and concrete work. 

You will serve as the right hand of the project manager and be the glue between the office and the job site. 

  What do you have in the house? 

• You have a Master's degree in Construction Engineering.
• You feel like sinking your teeth into complex technical issues.  
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French and English. 
• You have an excellent command of Office applications. If you have experience working with 3D plans and BIM, this will be considered an added advantage.
• You will work on site on our projects, in the project team. A number of large complex projects will start soon where your expertise will be very useful. Our project engineers can work on site at the project, but also in Kontich.
