Project Manager

As a project manager intern, you will be tied to an experienced project manager, so to speak. You go with him or her to his or her sites and are assigned either 1 large one or several smaller ones, where you learn by keeping your eyes and ears open.

The idea is that you will systematically take over tasks at your own pace from the project leader himself, allowing you to work on your own career path. 

Much depends on the site you arrive at and what stage it is already in but some of your duties might include:

• Your construction sites are managed smoothly: drawing up schedules, managing specifications, following up budgets, managing material lists,...
• You are jointly responsible for managing your sites. Every day there are dozens of colleagues and subcontractors waiting for your instructions. You make sure everyone knows what to do and give adjustments where necessary.
• You manage your own team impeccably: illness and possible industrial accidents are closely monitored. You report problems on time and of course you ensure a positive working atmosphere in your team. Because working with a smile goes so much better!
• Giving a state-of-the-practice presentation at site meetings is something you do with great enthusiasm.
• Solving problems gives you energy! Looking for solutions, alternative working methods, new techniques and innovations is something you enjoy doing.
• Co-follow up on budgets.

Group Renotec consists of different divisions, each with their own core business within the renovation world. When you join us as an assistant project leader, you will receive a 6-week training in which we will teach you how to work with all the tools we provide. As well as showing you what the different divisions do with us. The aim is for you to get to know the entire group and thus be able to indicate where your interests lie.
