We've all heard about it: the European chemical sector is approaching a tipping point. High energy costs, rising labor costs and stricter environmental regulations are creating many challenges. Companies are urgently looking for ways to stay competitive, some even threatening to move abroad. But ... in the midst of this storm, one figure is at the center of the search for solutions: the chemical engineer. From smart process optimization to innovative materials, from sustainable energy solutions to circular production: you - as a chemical engineer - are essential to reinventing this sector. That is why we are hosting an exciting forum evening where four experts from the chemical industry, academia and policy sectors will discuss what the future holds. How is the role of the chemical engineer changing? What skills will be crucial tomorrow? And above all: where are the opportunities for young, ambitious engineers like you?

Spoiler alert: chemical engineers are and will continue to be massively needed!

Important! We have room for a maximum of 40 participants, so signing up quickly is the message!

  • 5:30 - 7 p.m.: reception with snacks and drinks (Foodtruck Building Z)
  • 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.: introductions by the four expert speakers
  • 20:00 - 21:00: interactive panel discussion, questions from audience
  • 9 p.m.: end
