Research meets Industry
The 8th Asphalt Innovation Symposium (AIS2025) will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025 in Antwerp. The final program will follow later.
During AIS2025, experts from both academia and industry will be brought together to share the latest innovations in road construction.
The Asphalt Innovation Symposium (AIS) was started by the University of Antwerp and organized for the first time in 2018. Since then, this symposium has been organized every year by the Sustainable Pavements and Aspalt Research group (SuPAR). The central theme of this symposium is "Research Meets Industry" to promote high-level collaboration and exchange of ideas between universities and industries.
During AIS2025, a variety of topics will be covered, including digitization, sustainability, the performance of bituminous materials and innovative technologies within the industry. These topics will be highlighted in plenary sessions, keynotes, presentations, poster sessions and contributions from invited speakers.
All international researchers, industry stakeholders and managers and students are welcome to participate and keep others informed of their latest research ideas.

- individual ticket: € 190(access for 1 participant)
- company ticket: € 900(admission for 3 participants) *
