Xynthya Frison

As a Process Safety Engineer at Umicore, I focus on the safe design, operation, and improvement of industrial processes and facilities. My primary role is to identify and manage process risks to ensure the safety of employees, facilities, and the surrounding environment.

Among other things, I oversee HAZOP studies, in which we systematically analyze potential process deviations and determine which safety measures are necessary. In addition, I contribute to risk analyses, the evaluation of safety barriers, and the formulation and follow-up of improvement measures.

The position combines knowledge of chemistry and process engineering with safety engineering and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with process engineers, production, maintenance, and other technical disciplines.
