Always active

These items are required to enable basic website functionality.

Marketing

Essential

These items are used to deliver ads that are more relevant to you and your interests. They may also be used to limit the number of times you see an ad and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Advertising networks usually place them with the permission of the website operator.

Personalization

Essential

These items allow the Web site to remember your choices (such as your username, language or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personalized features. For example, a Web site may provide you with local weather reports or traffic information by storing data about your current location.

Analytics

Essential

These items help the Web site administrator understand how his Web site is performing, how visitors are interacting with the site, and if there are any technical problems. This storage type typically does not collect information that identifies a visitor.
