Land Surveyor - Expert
After completing my degree in industrial engineering—with a specialization in surveying—I have been working as an independent surveyor and expert for the past 15 years.
The work of a land surveyor is very varied, including staking out large and small construction projects, establishing property boundaries, land subdivision, making estimates, and so on...
As a surveyor, I spend most of my time working on tall residential towers and larger commercial projects, such as the renovation of a lock that I'm currently working on.
I do all the measuring and plotting work outside in the field but also do the prep work and post processing to deliver a nice plan.
There are lots of facets that come into play, but the best part of my job is the contact with all kinds of different people and the balance between the outdoor work and the drawing and preparation work in the office.
