Jorre Beyltiens

As a Project Engineer in Engineering at Atlas Copco, I work on the Beyond Air team. We develop compressors that don’t run on conventional compressed air, but on steam, hydrogen, or methane, for example. That makes our work very innovative and sustainable.

What makes my job particularly interesting is that we oversee a project from start to finish. We begin with a request from a client or a research project and figure out how to solve that challenge from a technical standpoint. In doing so, we use existing technology as much as possible, but we also research and

we also come up with new solutions when necessary.

From the initial idea and design through testing, customer rollout, and incorporating feedback: we’re involved every step of the way. So no two days are the same, and you’ll work alongside various teams and experts. Once a product has been fully developed and tested, it moves on to production.
