Jill Claes

I graduated in 2021 as an industrial engineer in electronics-ICT. After my studies, I stayed for a while at the University of Antwerp to get more students excited about studying industrial engineering. Since September 2023, I have been working as a lecturer at KdG-Hogeschool in the field of Applied Computer Science. As a lecturer of applied computer science at KdG, I teach several subjects. I teach students Java programming, guide them in creating a game in the subject Java Project, and teach Embedded, where they learn C programming. I also teach international students in Integration, where they work on projects that combine all aspects of the direction. In addition, I teach programming in evening classes. My work requires strong skills in teaching, programming and project supervision. I am happy to come to you along with my colleague Alexander, who teaches the subjects of databases and artificial intelligence. Besides teaching, I am also active in the "Women in Tech community".
