Florian Vanderhaeghen

As Module Owner for Drivetrains, I am responsible for the development and strategic direction of drivetrains for industrial compressors at Atlas Copco. This encompasses everything from electric motors and cooling systems to new technologies and the development of future product platforms.

My days are very varied: technical discussions with engineers, meetings with suppliers, project follow-up, and developing innovations that will make the next generation of products possible. In doing so, I collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines and locations around the world.

In my role, I combine technical expertise with broader project coordination. Technical insight, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management are therefore skills I use on a daily basis. What I personally find most fascinating is bringing people and ideas together to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
