As a project engineer, I work on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, always from concept through implementation. I combine technical knowledge with analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and coordination. Translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable solutions is a key part of my work. Comfort, energy consumption, regulations, investment costs, and maintenance all play a role in this. Together with the building owner/client and the design team, I analyze the needs and investigate which technical solution is the best fit. Calculations and dynamic building simulations help me assess comfort, map out energy consumption, and evaluate the possibility of simultaneous cooling and heating. I then translate the chosen concept—for example, a central BEO field—into a bidding document. A technically sound concept must also remain practically feasible. During construction, I monitor the installation and verify that everything is being implemented correctly from a design perspective and in a practical manner.
