Entrepreneur and business manager
I am manager of the company MAC Allaeys: a company specialized in industrial buildings and metal constructions. We have grown into a small SME with about twenty people. I am a structural engineer but have a heart for entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship is a word with many meanings. This involves people management, financial management, sales, growth, acquisitions.... lots of topics that make the life of an entrepreneur fascinating.
With a team of 20 people, we are fully committed to growth with our company. The most important thing here is People management. Ensuring that everyone does the right things and that all projects run smoothly. HR is also super important to hold performance reviews at regular intervals, recruit new people.
Another important aspect is following up on finances and sales. Long-term planning drawing up what will be implemented in the coming months and how we will implement it.
Guarding the long-term vision and sticking to the dream you want to realize is also something you're doing more often than you might expect.
