Asphalt Innovation Symposium
The Asphalt Innovation Symposium (AIS) was started by the University of Antwerp and organized for the first time in 2018. The eighth edition will take place on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, with the central theme "Research Meets Industry" to promote high-level collaboration and exchange of ideas between universities and industries.

What can you expect from this course?
During AIS2025, a variety of topics will be covered, including digitalization, sustainability, the performance of bituminous materials and innovative technologies within the industry. These topics will be highlighted in plenary sessions, keynotes, presentations, poster sessions and contributions from invited speakers.All international researchers, industry stakeholders and managers and students are welcome to attend and keep others informed of their latest research ideas.
