Dries Naudts received the Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Ghent University, Belgium in 2001. After his studies, he started as a software engineer at Kresoft and Nisus. In April 2005, he joined the Intec Broadband Communication Networks Group, where he is currently working as a senior researcher. Since 2009, he is affiliated with imec. He is currently involved in research on broadband mobile and wireless communication. His main research interest is in advanced network architecture, mobile wireless networks, 4G, 5G, C-ITS, V2X, evolved packet core, IEEE 802.11, ad hoc and mesh networking, IPv6, wireless testbed development. He is working on several bilateral/consultancy, national and European R&D projects in close collaboration with other academic and industrial partners.
