Van Laere
Imagine driving through Belgium and knowing that those impressive buildings are there thanks to you. With construction sites throughout the country and a major presence in Antwerp and Brussels, we leave our mark on the landscape every day. From high-rises that shape the skyline and complex Class 8 projects to major infrastructure projects, we at Van Laere tackle the challenges that others shy away from. Yet our success isn’t about concrete or steel. The real driving force behind it all is the people who design and build it.
With us, you’re not just another face in the crowd. Everyone—from the tradespeople on the job site to the engineers in the office—is an equal and indispensable part of the team. We’re fully committed to investing in your growth and well-being, because a strong project stands or falls on the strength of a passionate team. Short lines of communication, genuine appreciation, and a warm atmosphere are our top priorities.
Together, we push boundaries and build the living environment of tomorrow. Our promise, “Creating Tomorrow Together,” serves as our daily guide.
We are looking for...
At Van Laere, we’re not looking for people who wait for someone else to take care of things for them. For our construction sites, we’re looking for driven project engineers who want to be closely involved in the execution. Do you prefer to handle the numbers and strategy before a project gets underway? We also have an opening at our headquarters in the cost estimation and/or design department.
We’re not looking for people who wait for someone else to solve problems for them. We’re looking for doers and risk-takers with a no-nonsense attitude. True team players with a “yes, and…” mindset instead of “yes, but…”. We’re looking for people with a strong sense of responsibility. True team players who see opportunities and always keep their promises.
Safety is our absolute top priority, because we look out for one another to ensure that everyone gets home safe and sound every day. You’re down-to-earth, practical, and comfortable driving flexibly to our project sites. We always try to find a position close to home, but the work on-site takes precedence. Do you see yourself in this mix of daring, initiative, and team spirit? Then you’re a perfect fit for our DNA.
