Dataminded is a premium data & AI strategy and engineering consultancy agency, established in 2014. Currently, we have about 60 talented employees on board, serving clients in Belgium.
We specialize in providing strategic advice and technical expertise in cloud architecture & engineering, secure and scalable data infrastructure, and data & analytics. We have a proven track record of delivering impactful and long-lasting solutions. Historically, Dataminded’s expertise has centered on designing and building technology to support any type of data analytics, with a focus on industrializing use cases and rolling out foundational data platforms. Over the years, we have delivered more than 200 use cases, 30 data platforms, and trained more than 600 people for approximately 50 clients.
For several years now, Dataminded has combined its field experience into a complementary data strategy offering, including a proof of value for relevant business and technology capabilities. Essentially, Dataminded organizes its expertise into four areas:
- AI Engineering: build and maintain scalable, robust, and reliable AI systems
- Data Engineering: automate end-to-end data processing from raw data ingestion through to data products and insights, including data governance matters such as data quality, observability, privacy, and security
- Platform Engineering: build and maintain scalable, robust, and secure data infrastructure, tools, and workflows that enable data democratization and self-service
- Data Strategy & Governance: define the overall data and AI roadmap, ensuring data is trustworthy, compliant, and ready for AI use rn

Dataminded offers the following expert roles or profiles. We typically combine these roles and skills in multidisciplinary teams that include both client and Dataminded members.
1. AI/Data/Platform Engineer: Data & AI engineers are at the heart of what we do with and for our clients. They are advocates of software engineering best practices, with a strong focus on the end user and the ability to deliver results. The role’s core mission is to develop, test, and deploy a wide range of data analytics solutions that address business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Key Qualifications: Experience in software development, problem-solving, and consulting, with a strong focus on rolling out new technology and solutions. Excellent coding skills (Python, SQL, Java, Golang, etc.) and mastery of frameworks such as Spark and DBT. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
1. Solution Architects are at the forefront of technical decision-making, driving architectural vision, and ensuring the successful implementation of high-quality data analytics solutions. The role’s core mission is to plan and design solutions for our clients, focusing on long-term sustainability, and to lead the implementation of pilots and new initiatives.
Key Qualifications: Experience in software development, problem-solving, and consulting, with a strong focus on rolling out new technology and solutions. Experience with big data technologies, tools, and programming languages. Track record of building and operating cloud data platforms
1. Data Architect: We believe that data, just like core software applications, must be designed, managed, and delivered as high-quality products to its consumers. The role’s core mission is to define the architectural patterns that transform raw data into trustworthy, discoverable, and valuable data products that drive measurable business outcomes.
Key Qualifications: Expert proficiency in conceptual/logical data modeling and defining interface schemas rn Experience with various types of analytics, including business intelligence, machine learning, and GenAI rn Track record of building and operating cloud data platforms.
1. Data/AI Strategists lead and shape our clients’ data and AI transformation from initial vision to end-user adoption. The role’s core mission is to bridge strategy and execution, ensuring we deliver real business value.
Key Qualifications: Experience leading large, cross-functional data initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments. Experience with prioritization frameworks and translating user needs into tangible metrics.
